Ecuador

Ollie and Maggie were superb keeping us abreast of unavoidable changes and rearranging the itinerary as flights changed. Can't praise the service enough. Two other examples of this were: arranging a first class hotel and a meal on the day of our 50th wedding anniversary, and also the change of boat. Ollie negotiated a cabin upgrade and when we saw the new boat and cabin we laughed, as it was so much better than the one we expected! There were too many memorable moments to mention, but one particulary special one was standing on a sand bank in the Ecuadorian rainforest, as dawn arrived on the morning of our 50th wedding anniversary. We both agree that the trip with your company exceeded our expectations. Thanks to all involved.

Uzbekistan

Frances was charming, efficient, encouraging and helpful. This was a really well organised trip; very personal and it’s difficult to think of many improvements Original Travel could make. We hugely enjoyed it and would recommend the experience to anyone, especially Uzbekistan. The warmth of all of the people we met, drivers, guides and local people was quite outstanding, as was the generosity of our homestay hostesses.

Oliver couldn’t have been more helpful - we had a very specific, and not totally simple, brief and timeline. Oliver’s experience in the area was very clear and he created a fantastic itinerary for us. As to the trip itself - it was totally magical. The quality of the concierge and tour guides was top notch - the latter was a big part of the trip (we went on numerous tours) and added hugely to the success of the trip. Activities were spot on for our boys. Best were humpback whale watching for us, zip-lining for the boys! Family rooms and suites were great too, so we could all be together. The modem was a great touch and very useful. The app - and all the information within it - was also great. Victor the Concierge was wonderful - from providing us with local currency so we could use a toll bridge as we left San Jose, to sending us regular route updates and restaurant recommendations. Lounge access is always a fab touch! And the meet and greet takes away all the stress of trying to work out logistics when arriving somewhere new. Both add to the feeling of R&R. All in all, Original Travel were superb!

Holly made excellent suggestions and creates the perfectly balanced trip that ticked all our boxes. The Concierge was very helpful throughout and the absolutel highlights were seeing monkeys and deer on Manjangan Island, and watching the sunset from the magnificent tower.

From start to finish the trip was exceptional and Harriet and the staff at Original Travel had everything laid out perfectly in advance so traveling from city to city was seamless. In addition the services provided by your concierges in each area were outstanding. The app is great and we used it constantly to keep up with our daily schedule. Between the tours and transfers between cities the app was an invaluable resource.

We absolutely had a great time on our trip. The staff at Papua Paradise were absolutely top notch - everyone from the kitchen staff, to the bartender, to the front desk folks knew our names from day one. They absolutely went out of their way to make sure our stay there was very memorable. Your trip planning was spot on. We had folks waiting for us at every stop, which made everything almost too easy. You have our vote, and we'll definitely be planning our next major dive trip through you!

Sweden

We all had a fantastic holiday. Thank you! We caught all 13(!) trains. We slept very well on 3 and our last night in Hamburg was magnificent. We loved Northern Sweden and the gorgeous Treehouse Hotel, all the activities and the outdoor dinners at Brandon. All marvellous and we’re thinking of where to go next by train. Thanks again to you all.
